Connect your REPSLog account to Claude and you can log and review your REPS work hours just by chatting. Ask Claude to add a time log, list your properties, or summarize your hours, and it talks to REPSLog securely on your behalf.
This guide walks you through adding REPSLog as a connector in Claude, step by step. No technical knowledge required.
Good to know: REPSLog uses one account everywhere. The same REPSLog login works in both Claude and ChatGPT, so if you have already connected one, the other uses the same sign-in. Anything you log through Claude shows up in the REPSLog app just like an entry you typed yourself.
Before you start
You will need:
- A REPSLog Premium subscription. AI assistant integrations are a Premium feature. If you are on the Free or Starter plan, upgrade to Premium in the REPSLog app first (Settings > Subscription).
- A REPSLog account with the email and password (or sign-in method) you normally use.
- A Claude account that supports custom connectors. Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans. If you do not see the connectors option, check your Claude plan.
Step 1: Open the connectors settings in Claude
- Open Claude in your web browser or the Claude desktop app.
- Go to Settings, then open the Connectors section.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Add custom connector.
Step 2: Add the REPSLog connector
- In the Add custom connector dialog, give it a name you will recognize, for example
REPSLog. - In the URL field, paste the REPSLog MCP connector address:
https://api.reps-log.com/api/mcp
(The same connector address works for both Claude and ChatGPT, so this one URL is all you need.) 3. Select Add to save the connector.
Step 3: Sign in to REPSLog (OAuth)
After you add the connector, Claude opens a secure REPSLog sign-in window so it can connect to your account. REPSLog never shares your password with Claude.
- When the REPSLog sign-in window appears, enter the email and password for your REPSLog account (or use your usual sign-in method).
- Confirm the sign-in. You may be asked to allow Claude to access your REPSLog data.
Same account across assistants: This is the exact same REPSLog sign-in used by the ChatGPT connector. It verifies you are the real account owner and links Claude to your REPSLog data. No separate account or password is created for Claude.
Step 4: Confirm the connection
Once sign-in succeeds, the window closes and you return to Claude.
- Back in Settings > Connectors, confirm that REPSLog now appears as connected.
- The REPSLog tools (such as logging time, listing properties, and summarizing hours) are now available to Claude.
Step 5: Try your first prompt
You are ready to use REPSLog from Claude. Start a new chat and try something like:
Log 2 hours of work on the Maple Street property today under "Repairs and maintenance."
Claude will ask REPSLog to create the time log and confirm when it is done. A few more examples to try:
List my properties in REPSLog.
How many REPS hours have I logged this month?
Show my time logs for the Oak Avenue property in May.
When you log time through Claude, the entry is saved to your REPSLog account automatically and is tagged as coming from Claude. Open the REPSLog app any time to see it alongside your other entries.
Troubleshooting
The connectors or "Add custom connector" option is missing. Custom connectors require a Claude plan that supports them. Check your Claude plan and, if needed, upgrade. The option is usually under Settings > Connectors.
Sign-in fails or the connection will not complete. Make sure you are signing in with the same REPSLog account you use in the app. If the sign-in window closed too early, remove the connector and add it again to restart the flow.
Claude says it cannot access REPSLog or that the feature is not available. AI assistant integrations require an active REPSLog Premium subscription. Confirm you are on Premium in the REPSLog app (Settings > Subscription). Premium is checked every time, so if a subscription lapses the connector stops working until it is renewed.
My logged time is not showing up in the app. Pull to refresh in the REPSLog app. Entries created through Claude appear alongside the ones you add manually. If it still does not appear, confirm Claude actually completed the action (it will reply with a confirmation).
Does one connector address really work for both Claude and ChatGPT? Yes. The same connector serves both. REPSLog automatically records whether an entry came from Claude or ChatGPT, so you do not need a different address for each.
Disconnect REPSLog from Claude
To stop Claude from accessing your REPSLog account:
- In Claude, go to Settings > Connectors.
- Find REPSLog in the list.
- Select it and choose Remove (or Disconnect).
Removing the connector revokes Claude's access. Your REPSLog data and any time logs you already created are unaffected, and you can reconnect any time by following the steps above. Disconnecting Claude does not affect a ChatGPT connection (or vice versa), since each assistant is connected separately even though they share your REPSLog account.
