If you subscribed to REPSLog through our website (or through a Stripe checkout link), your subscription is billed by Stripe rather than the Apple App Store or Google Play. This guide shows you how to manage that subscription: find your renewal date, cancel, update your payment card, download a receipt, change your plan, and request a refund.
Before You Start
REPSLog has two different billing systems, and where you manage your subscription depends on how you signed up:
- Stripe (web): You subscribed on our website or through a checkout link. This is what this article covers.
- Apple App Store / Google Play: You subscribed from inside the iPhone or Android app. Those are managed in your Apple or Google account settings, not in Stripe.
How do I tell which one I have?
The easiest way is to open Manage Subscription (steps below). If it takes you to a Stripe-hosted billing page, you are billed through Stripe. If REPSLog instead sends you to your Apple or Google subscription settings, your subscription is managed by the app store and this article does not apply.
Tip: A quick rule of thumb: if you first subscribed on a web page in your browser, it is almost always Stripe. If you tapped a "Subscribe" button inside the mobile app, it is Apple or Google.
Open the Stripe Billing Portal
Everything you can self-manage (renewal date, cancel, payment card, receipts, plan) lives in the Stripe billing portal. To open it:
- Open REPSLog and go to Settings.
- Tap Manage Subscription.
- If you are billed through Stripe, REPSLog opens the secure Stripe billing portal in your browser, already signed in to your account.
From the billing portal you can see your renewal date, cancel auto-renew, update your card, download invoices and receipts, and (where available) change your plan. The sections below walk through each task.
Tip: The Manage Subscription option only appears when you have an active subscription. If you do not see it, you may be on the Free plan, or you may be viewing a shared (delegated) account rather than your own.
See Your Renewal Date
Your renewal date is the day your subscription will next renew and be charged. To find it:
- Open the Stripe billing portal (see above).
- Look at your active REPSLog plan. The billing portal shows the date your plan next renews, along with the amount that will be charged.
- If you have already cancelled auto-renew, the portal shows the date your access ends instead, since it will not renew after that.
You can also confirm the renewal date by checking the most recent charge in your Invoice history: a monthly plan renews one month after that date, and an annual plan renews one year after.
Cancel Auto-Renew
Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Open the Stripe billing portal (see above).
- Find your active REPSLog plan.
- Select Cancel plan and confirm.
Your subscription stays active until the current billing period ends, then it will not renew. You can keep using your paid features until that date.
Update Your Payment Card
- Open the Stripe billing portal.
- In the Payment method section, choose to add a new card or update the existing one.
- Enter the new card details and save.
Your next renewal will be charged to the updated card.
Download a Receipt or Invoice
- Open the Stripe billing portal.
- Go to the Invoice history (billing history) section.
- Select any charge to view it, then download the invoice or receipt as a PDF.
Each entry shows the date, amount, and plan, which is useful for your records.
Change Your Plan
If your plan options allow it, you can switch plans from the same billing portal:
- Open the Stripe billing portal.
- Find your current plan and choose the option to update or change it.
- Select the new plan and confirm. Stripe will adjust your billing accordingly.
If you do not see an option to change plans, contact us and we will switch it for you.
Promotion Codes at Checkout
If you started a subscription from a REPSLog web checkout link that includes a promotion, the code is applied for you automatically. You do not need to type it in, and the discount will show in the checkout total before you pay.
Tip: If you expected a discount and do not see it in the total, do not complete the purchase. Contact us first and we will make sure the right promotion is applied to your checkout link.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied with REPSLog, contact us with the email on your account. We handle refund requests case by case, and if we see that a refund is warranted, we will process it back to your original payment method through Stripe.
Once approved, a refund can take a little time to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
If you subscribed inside the iPhone or Android app instead of through Stripe, refunds work differently and are handled by Apple or Google. See our guide How to Cancel Your REPSLog Subscription (iOS & Android) for how mobile billing works.
Tip: Cancelling auto-renew and requesting a refund are two separate actions. Cancelling stops future charges but does not automatically refund a payment you have already made. If you want money back, reach out to us as well.
Troubleshooting
I do not see "Manage Subscription" in Settings.
This option appears only when you have an active subscription on your own account. If you are on the Free plan, there is nothing to manage. If you are viewing a shared account as a delegate, switch back to your own account first.
"Manage Subscription" opens my Apple or Google settings, not a Stripe page.
That means your subscription is billed through the app store, not Stripe. Manage it in your Apple or Google account subscription settings instead. This article only covers Stripe (web) subscriptions.
I get an error or no page opens when I tap "Manage Subscription".
Make sure you are signed in to REPSLog with the same email you used to subscribe. If it still fails, the account email and the email on file with Stripe may not match. Contact us and we will sort it out.
I do not see a renewal date in the billing portal.
If you have already cancelled, the portal shows the date your access ends rather than a renewal date, because the plan will not renew. If you still cannot find the date you are looking for, contact us with the email on your account and we will confirm it for you.
Checkout says I am already subscribed.
If you try to subscribe again while you already have an active Stripe subscription, checkout will recognize that and stop you from being charged twice. Instead of starting a new plan, open the Stripe billing portal (see above) to manage the subscription you already have. If you believe this is a mistake, contact us.
I cancelled but was still charged.
Check the date of the charge. If it happened before you cancelled, it is a normal renewal for the period you are currently in, and your plan will simply not renew next time. If you were charged after cancelling, contact us with the charge details and we will investigate.
My refund has not arrived yet.
Refunds can take some time to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. If it has been longer than you would expect, contact us with the email on your account.
If you are still stuck, contact us and we will help.
