How to Switch a Property from Long-Term Rental (LTR) to Short-Term Rental (STR) and Vice Versa

When you first add a property in REPSLog, you select whether it’s a Long-Term Rental (LTR) or a Short-Term Rental (STR). If you ever need to change this setting, you can easily update it.

Changing a Property’s Rental Type

1. Go to the Properties tab.

2. Select the property you want to edit.

3. Use the toggle button to switch between LTR and STR.
   

What happens when you switch?

• Any entries already logged under that property will automatically move to the new category (LTR or STR).

• Your total hour count on the dashboard will be updated accordingly.

Adjusting What You See on Your Dashboard

You can also control how your dashboard displays properties:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Find the Properties toggle.

3. Choose whether to view LTR only, STR only, or both.
   

This allows you to focus on the type of rentals most relevant to your tracking and tax goals.
