Can My Spouse and I Log Hours Together in REPSLog?

Yes! You and your spouse can both log into the same REPSLog account from your personal devices. When creating a new entry, simply use the Participant field (Who Performed the Activity?) and select either Myself or Spouse.

All logged hours will appear in your entry log, and your Overview dashboard will show a breakdown of hours by participant when you click on the arrow for details.

How those hours count toward your totals depends on whether you are tracking for LTR (Long Term Rentals)-REPS Status or for STR (Short-Term Rentals).

LTR / REPS Status Tracking

When you are trying to qualify for Real Estate Professional Status (REPS):

• You must personally reach 750 hours by yourself.

• Any hours your spouse logs will not count toward your 750-hour requirement.

• However, their hours will still appear in your entry log, so you can keep a complete record of both participants.

There are situations where you might only need to prove material participation in your real estate business rather than meeting the REPS 750-hour test. In this case:

• You can qualify by reaching 500 hours total across all properties, or

• By logging 100 hours per property (and more than any other participant).

• In this scenario, both your hours and your spouse’s hours do count toward your total.

STR (Short-Term Rental) Tracking

For Short-Term Rental (STR) properties:
